Frequently Asked Questions
-
Talk therapy is a collaborative process where you can openly discuss your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and challenges in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space. Therapy can help you better understand yourself, develop healthier coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal growth and healing.
-
Therapy can be helpful for anyone feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, emotionally stuck, or simply looking for support and personal growth. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy — many people use it as a space to gain clarity, improve relationships, and better manage everyday life.

I work with adults who are carrying a lot, the ones who hold it together for everyone else and are quietly running on empty. Therapy with me is a space to be honest, feel seen, and finally set down some of what you've been carrying alone. My style is open, honest, interactive, and practical, the kind of conversation that actually helps you move forward. I especially love working with women of color, though my door is open to adults of all genders and backgrounds across New York State.

All sessions are held via telehealth, secure video sessions you can join from anywhere in New York State. No commute, no waiting room, just a private space and an internet connection.
-
Before your session, you'll receive a secure video link. At your appointment time, you click the link from a private space, that's it. Telehealth therapy is just as effective as in-person for most people, and it means you can fit sessions into your real life instead of rearranging your life around them.

Sessions are 45 minutes.

There's no pressure to share everything at once, we go at your pace. By the end, we'll have a sense of what working together could look like.
